Valentina Lucarini Orejon

Valentina Lucarini Orejón is an Italo-Spanish artist living and working in Pietrasanta. Her research originates from a deep dialogue between the body, spirituality, and materiality, exploring cast bronze using the ancient lost-wax technique and the metal residues from this process. She is the heir to a historic art foundry based in Pietrasanta, Fonderia Versiliese, through which she has developed an intimate and direct relationship with the sculptural process, subverting its hierarchy and transforming it into a language.
